I am so proud of who he is becoming. We are supposed to be making the trip back to his village soon. He has decided he has forgiven his mom and wants to see her. He has been calling his aunt and talking to his cousins recently. We are just hoping that we are able to find his mom this time. I don't know that he is ready to go back to live with them, but at least it seems like a possibility now. Thanks again for the prayers.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12827562707126678146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381230760847721026.post-64221429522764910892013-11-16T06:27:17.365+03:002013-11-16T06:27:17.365+03:00I was catching up on my blog reading and had to se...I was catching up on my blog reading and had to see if there was anything new on John. My children still pray for him every day. They ask me how he is doing. They pray he will find a forever home. When you write about John in later post, is it the same John? I've been looking at all the various posts. Also praying for you. I know how difficult it is to pour your life into hurting children. It takes a toll emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Praying for added strength for you at this time.Natashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03704419590988377349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381230760847721026.post-22560570104078587442012-09-06T03:57:44.622+03:002012-09-06T03:57:44.622+03:00Hi Natasha! Times can be difficult, but you are so right, he (and the other boys) are so worth!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12827562707126678146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381230760847721026.post-38093025746506235962012-09-05T05:16:49.055+03:002012-09-05T05:16:49.055+03:00I am so thankful you posted this. They were just asking me last week how he was. I will read your post to them. Three of our children were adopted out of foster care. They have a heart for others out there in difficult situations. But mostly this just tugs at my heart. I hurt for John. Our boys experienced some of the same feelings and pain. I too have learned so much about God and myself through them. It's not been an easy road, but because of Him -- it's so worth it. Continued prayers...Natashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03704419590988377349noreply@blogger.com
